Hi,
I just heard that there is an Arduino Board that has Wifi, it's the Arduino UNO WiFi Rev 2.
I'm trying to use the External Mode not over Serial but Wifi or TCP/IP(Wireless), i tried Bluetooth Mode, ESP3266 but with no success.
So i just want to know if the Arduino Simulink Support Package supports this Board with Wifi as External mode.
PS: i already read the explanation from Mathworks but they only say it's possible with the wifi Shield but the problem is that the Wifi Shield is retired and it's not possible to buy it anymore.
So i really need a solution for my problem

As per this link, this board is not supported. https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/arduino-simulink.html
If you are looking to do Wi-Fi related stuff, starting R2017b MKR1000 board is supported.

Thank you for you answer, but the MKR1000 doesn't have enough power for my Project.
I tried to use bluetooth as a serial communication, it works perfect with Arduino IDE and also i can upload simulink models to the Board but External Mode don't work and i can't see inside the .p files from matlab to know more about the way Simulink do the external mode to better understand it and find a solution.
Because it's not normal that it does work with Arduino IDE and not in Simulink. It's not normal that the package supports a Wifi Shied that is for years now retired.

That is unfortunate, please scratch my previous suggestion.
Thanks for the feedback, I will pass it on to the developers and put in a request on your behalf to consider supporting Arduino UNO WiFi Rev 2 boards.

I see the Uno Wifi rev2 is still not supported. Any timeline on when this board will be added?

Hi Matt - there is currently no timeline for adding support for Arduino UNO WiFi Rev 2. I would recommend considering the Arduino Nano 33 IoT board as a possible alternative. This is supported in MATLAB and Simulink starting in R2020a, is about half the cost of UNO WiFi Rev 2, and has better perfomance specs in a number of areas. Take a look:

Hi, I wrote a matlab code for an Arduino Uno and I purchased the Arduino Uno Wifi Rev2 for an easy swapping of the boards. My question is: has there been any change with MATLAB supporting the Arduino Uno Wifi Rev2? Will it be avaible in the R2021 version of MATLAB?

It seems that it's not supported!
