How to export arduino output to matlab for live graph plotting?

I am new to MATLAB and Arduino. I need to convert piezo sensor output voltage from arduino into frequency. I read on internet that I can do so by using FFT in MATLAB or python. But I don't know how to import output data of piezo into arduino to plot a real-time graph. Can somebody help?
