why can't I enable "stateflow animation"

In simulink, the "stateflow animation" option under "simulation" is greyed out. I want an animated execution. How do I enable this?

You have to have a Stateflow chart open. Open a Stateflow chart and then select.

This is not the same execution animation that existed in earlier versions of labview.
