Can ORB feature detector thresholds be modified?

I am interested in modifying some of the detectORBFeaturesOCV thresholds. For instance, is it possible to modify the number of features that are detected by ORB or the sensitivity of the FAST in the ORB feature detector?

Is there any documentation on detectORBFeaturesOCV()? For instance, what is 'Metric', 'Misc', and 'Scale' that it computes?
