Update UI table data in appdesigner?

I used appdesigner to create a table. How can I update the 'Data' property of my table when the user enters new data in the cells after the app is called in matlab? When I click on a cell (highlighted in the attached image) I can't change the value. How do I enable value changing and then also update the app.UITable.Data property?

Change the columnEditable property of the uitable to be true for the columns you want to edit and false for the others.
