How i can extract ground truth of the edges?

I have some images and want to extract their edges as a ground truth for the later comparasion which i will compare with my algorithm results.Please note that my work uses gaussian and i want to check the edges after the gaussian process. So for that i need to extract first the ground truths edges from the input image , and later i can compare my algorithm edges results with the ground truth.

That is not possible. Your edge extraction from image cannot be perfect (especially for jpeg). Ground Truth is what is really there according to some serious assessment such as sending a trained botonist in to carefully catalog each and every tree, perhaps doing DNA analysis in cases of doubt. Ground Truth is expert opinion based upon primary sources. Like not just an expert pointing to a blob in an image and saying "That shape looks maybe like copper bearing ores": ground truth would send a geologist to do assays. And then the expert opinion derived some other way could, be combined with the image, to try to develop algorithms that do not require that level of assessment.
