Unable to connect rotational elements to lever block in simscape

Hello, I am trying to simulate responses to certain inputs/parameters of the model attached. Can someone provide insight as to why I am unable to connect rotational elements to the lever block of the mechanical library in Simscape?

The Lever block accepts 2 Translational ports, so the Rotational ones won't directly connect. In your diagram, this means you can control/measure x1 and x2, but not theta.

Now, you can always easily calculate theta if you know the lengths of your lever, or vice-versa.
