how to find the maxima and minima of the respiratory signal so as to find slope and hence find the peaks?can anyone suggest me the code related to that.here i attached my data that is acquired from SS5LB respiratory transducer through BIOPAC systems.

i acquired respiratory signal of 10minutes duration through SS5LB transducer through biopac with the sampling frequency of 1000hz.i want to find the minima and maxima of the signal so as to get the slope and hence find the peaks .this is in need to correlate with the ecg signal.i tried first derivative code but it didn't provide me the expected result.hence i request you people to suggest me codes which best suits to my question as soon as possible
