I need to apply 1-D DWT decomposition on filtered ecg signal by considering windows using dyadic length instead of taking beat by beat matrix. I am not exactly understanding what this dyadic length window selection can be performed in matlab.

I need to apply 1-D DWT decomposition on filtered ecg signal and this should not be performed beat by beat. i need to do it considering windows using dyadic length. I am not exactly understanding what this dyadic length window selection can be performed in matlab. Any help?
