How do you transform a 4D array to 3D array, turning the 4th value into a color for the 3D point.

I want to take an array like {1,2,3,4} and transform it to {1,2,3} and assign "4" to a color.

Your question is not clear. How do you assign a color to an array in Matlab? Your input example is not 4D either. Please try to give a complete example input and intended output.
