How to read DHT22 sensor data in Matlab?

I have DHT22 Temperature and Humidity sensor connected to Arduino Mega 2560. I able to gain the data in serial monitor of Arduino IDE. However, I wanted to the data to be imported to the Fuzzy Logic Controller in MatLAB. As far as I know, I need to use simulink to import the data to the MatLAB. But, how do I differentiate the data of the "Temperature" and "Humidity" that came out from DHT22 sensor and send it to the simulink. I need help.

Since DHT22 is a digital sensor, can someone tell me how to read temperature data from the sensor and transfer it to simulink and feed into a PID controller block. A code will be even more helpful.
