how to copy a .fig file into a GUI?

Hi I am trying to copy a .fig file to an axes in GUI using copyobj, but it does not work.
I do not know if there is any other way to do this.

Galit - please clarify: are you trying to copy the graphics objects from the fig file into an axes on a GUI? Are you copying all objects or just some? Please show the code that you are using to do this.
