How can I find centroid for noisy star images?

Hi, I am a student and i am new to Matlab. I have a noisy star image. I want to denoise and find centroid points of stars in this image. Are there any methods you can recommend? Thanks for advance.

Hi Image Analyst, sorry,you are right. I am sharing my code. I tried to create stars on dark background and added gaussian noise.Then i simulated PSF effects on image. Now, i want to denoise this image and find centroid of stars with high accuracy. Can you help me,please? Thanks.

You will probably not be happy with the results. The fitting of gaussians is quite sensitive to noise.
