How to calculate corresponding period or frequency of each layer by 1D wavelet decomposition?

I wannt to detract 3-10days signals in 90days time series. I want to know whether "wavedec" can help me.For example; [C,L]=wavedec(x,5,'db16'); there are 5 levels contains a1-a5,d1-d5. How to calculate the corresponding period or frequency of each level ? As I know ' freq=scal2frq(2.^[1:5],'db16',1);'freq=[0.3387 0.1694 0.0847 0.0423 0.0212]. So the first level's frequency is 0-0.3387,0.3387-0.6774? Is that right? Help me please!
