Zedboard and Pmod in Simulink

Hi, I want to buy ZedBoard, because i have to use it in simulink environment (in ARM mode and FPGA mode) with AXI4. I need to comunicate outside with CAN (Controller Area Network). I found a Pmode CAN (https://store.digilentinc.com/pmod-can-can-2-0b-controller-with-integrated-transceiver/). It is linked with pmod port of zedboard and it use a SPI protocol to comunicate (very complex protocol). How i can develop it? I find this blocks: https://reference.digilentinc.com/learn/programmable-logic/tutorials/pmod-ips/start but they are in Vivado Design Suite (IP block). Thanks
