Since R2018a no indication that script section is running

Since R2018a I miss an indication that script section is running (Strg+Enter in editor). In previous versions mouse pointer changed to wait pointer such as hourglass or so. Is there any option to enable this feature?

I have noticed this new feature too; I personally preferred the old system...
You can still see the text "Evaluating current section" in the lower bar, but it is indeed less obvious.
Unfortunately "Evaluating current section" disappears as soon as one moves the mouse to a different position. If one then goes back to the running section, it does not appear again. Moreover, it is not clear if the action is taken when you meanwhile try to execute another section (to check, if the data from section one are already evaluated).
This behaviour complicates working with Matlab scripts and requires extensive use of fprintf commands (my only workaround so far)
I couldn't agree more.

Here the answer from MathWorks Technical Support Department:
This is a known bug and our developers are already working on fixing it for a futures release. Unfortunately, there is no workaround or patch for the issue in R2018a.

Thanks for the info, Andre, it's good to know that officially this is a bug, not a new feature.
