Is it possible to create a COM object for staadpro in matlab??

I tried creating a code like

Staad = actxserver('StaadPro.OpenSTAAD');

but all i get is an empty array.

But the code works in VB

Set OpenSTAADObject = GetObject(, "StaadPro.OpenSTAAD")
OpenSTAADObject.CloseSTAADFile

How to do the same in matlab?? Am i doing any mistake in the code???
