How to divide a binary image into equal sized square considering major and minor axis as x axis or y axis?

I have a binary image,specially a hand gesture. whatever the orientation will be we have to bring back to them into vertical orientation. That I have been done. I also have drawn major and minor axis through centroid. Now my next work is to consider only upper portion of the centroid . Consider the major/minor axis as one of the axis and take a square from first quadrant and also take same size of square from second quadrant too.When considering the square the axis portion need to be considered in one of the wall of the square. and then consider them as separate image. Again divide each of the image into 4 equal halves. I am attaching some pictures here that will give the proper idea of what I need actually.

I don't understand how the upper left or right corner is defined, nor do I understand the blue lines in step 2. Are they just half-way between the red lines?

But if you know the size of the red and blue squares, I also don't understand what the difficulty is in dividing the image according to these.

I only know about major axis,minor axis and centroid. Major and minor axis has been drawn already in first figure. Now I have to take equal size square from both side like I have shown in step1. I dont know about the length of the red lines that is what I have to find out. After doing the step now gain I have divide each of the square into 4 equal parts like I have shown in step2 figure. Here I also dont know the length of blue line. What I want actually that I have tried to shown by drawing some lines over the image object.
