why I am getting error in using unit delay and memory unit?

HEllo, I am getting some weird result from using the unit delay and memory unit in simulink. my system is simple,i have a pulse generator that I want to use as clock. So, I want to delay this clock by one unit sampling time. howver I used both of the block to generate the delay. in one experiemnt the memory unit was delaying the pulse by samling clock and the unit delay ,delay the pulse but keeps the resulte 1 all the time. so I am trying to understand what is wrong and this happend to me as well but inversely
