I am working matrix, but confused on this.

I defined a matrix.
>> B=[5 9 3 2;6 7 1 3; 2 4 1 9]
B =
5 9 3 2
6 7 1 3
2 4 1 9
I am supposed to answer the following question.
Give the value of x = B23 * B14

B23 and B14 in MATLAB syntax would be B(2,3) and B(1,4).

Does this mean I am multiplying B(2,3) and B(1,4)?
