How to obtain and formatting a table of data from a URL?

Hi, I'm looking for a method of retrieving data from a url, which is formatted as a table on the site, and to retrieve it in a matching matrix format in matlab. Datatype conversions and such can come later, but simply obtaining the proper data in a way that can at least be played with to the right format is the first step. An example url is like these, one of these formats may be better than the other:
