Do we have any proficient users in Python?

I've been working on converting Python to Matlab for awhile now. I have everything plotting, saving, and outputting. However, there are small bits not lining up. Need assistance from someone who is good at Python. Anyone?

I am starting to realize this project is super tedious. Does anyone know of any good resources for Python? Anywhere I can get help? Trying to understand the Python is what I am having trouble most with.
