Generate portion of circular array elements

Is there way to generate a equal spacing array which is a part of a circular array? Or Can you use a portion elements in a circular array generated by phased.UCA? For example elements [9 10 11 1 2 3] in the circular array

You can do both. You can either compute the position and normal of these elements and put them in a ConformalArray, see the first example here

Or if you want to plot a pattern, you can pass in a weights and put ones and zeros in it to indicate which element is active, like

array = phased.UCA(11);
pattern(array,1e9,'Weights',[ones(3,1); zeros(5,1); ones(3,1)]);
