How to determine the correct wavelet decomposition level?

I've got an EEG data set that used a sampling freq of 512. I am trying to extract only the beta band (16-32Hz). What level of decomposition do I need? From what I can gather it is the fourth level that obtains the 16-32Hz band. Am I correct?
