default float typedef Option

Please consider adding option to set a 32bit floating point arithmetic as default, instead of each time writing single(variable).

P.S. I've resigned from Matlab to get benefits with GNU Octave CLI many-core parallelism via please-cite GNU Parallel, so I do not have any interest to such tip.
