Targetinstaller not working on Mac OS X

I just installed Matlab R2012a on my OS X Lion machine. When I start up targetinstaller, I get to choose between installing from internet or from folder, but none works.
I have tried downloading the Simulink Support Package for LEGO Mindstorms and install from a folder containing the zip but it just said it couldn't find any support package.
Installing from the internet just stop with a buggy-looking window (see linked screenshot). My friend running OS X also has the same issue (I use XQuarts and he uses X11). Any ideas what's going on?

It appears that the Run-on-target feature is only supported on Windows (32-bit and 64-bit):

This is terrible!
I have opened a ticket with Mathworks about this and am awaiting an answer from them. I'll get back here when I receive a response before I accept your answer.
Thanks!

Sebastian: Since this is documented, I doubt that you will receive a different answer from Tech Support. I would recommend putting in an enhancement request while you're in touch with them. Also note that support on Mac may be limited by the tools available for the corresponding targets on that platform. Is there a C/C++ compiler available for LEGO Mindstorms on Mac?

Kaustubha is correct... but requests for non-windows support will help MathWorks prioritize this capability. I'm hopeful that the targetinstaller also had useful messages when run on platforms that do not support the particular hardware.
Yes, you are quite right. But I had my hopes up that there was an error in the documentation, sadly it proved to be correct.
There is support for legos-osek on the Mac platform. I have used it both on Mac and Ubuntu to compile and flash directly to brick.
