Help ! I need to import 3 datafiles from 1 file !

Help ! I need to import 3 datafiles from 1 file and at this point I have tried pretty much anything ! this is what I came with but it does not work

close all; 
clear all;
clc;

p = pwd;

      DirFolder = dir(strcat(p,'/Data/subject*'))
      q = length(DirFolder)
  for i = 1:q ;

          Dirfolder2 = dir(strcat(p,'/Data/',DirFolder(i).name,'/*txt'))
      for j= 1:6;
          file = strcat(p,'/Data/',DirFolder(i).name,'/',Dirfolder2(j).name)
          a = importdata(file)
          data{i,j}= a.data

      end
  end

That code looks plausible. It could be written more cleanly, but I do not see anything wrong with it.

When you execute the code are you getting any error/warning or is it just not working the way you intended it to ? Can you please elaborate little more on the real issue you are facing?
