I have problem in loading my dataset. I'm using MATLAB R2017a. It shows me an error like "Unknown text on line number 1 of ASCII file"

load('duplicate_dataset.csv');

Hello Sarath,

load is generally best used with either MAT files, or files saved from MATLAB using save, maybe with the -ascii or similar option. If you got this CSV file from anywhere other than MATLAB, I'd recommend either csvread or readtable to get the data into MATLAB. There are several other functions that are similar as well, or you can work interactively using the Import Tool.

my file contains both alphanumeric values. i used csvread it is not working.can u suggest me with any other function?

Try readtable() if you are using R2013b or later.
