Strange error... everything works in Octave, not in Matlab!

Hello! I give you a screen of my code. I put the same one into the Octave and everything works. I really don't know where is the problem. :/

Not sure what you are trying to do. It is not a given that the syntax in Matlab and Octave should be identical.

Matlab isn't Octave. They don't necessarily have the same syntax. I don't use the Symbolic toolbox so I don't really know what f(z) or g(z) evaluates to, but certainly

ezplot( g(z) )

seems strange syntax.

I don't use the symbolic math toolbox either. That being said and after a quick look at the documentation, I don't think you are defining your symbolic functions correctly:

You might need to take a step back and go through the documentation.
