Why my phone compiles matlab code so slowly ?

My android phone ( Redmi Note 4 ) has Snapdragon 625 2GHz, octa core processor, 64 bit, 4 GB RAM. I am using 'Addi' app to compile my .m Matlab file, I see that the phone compiling speed is not at all near to my laptop's. My laptop has 4 GB ram with intel i3, 1.9 GHz 64-bit processor. It is only a dual core processor. Where is the problem?
