waveletAnalyzer app CData specification

I am exploring some 12-bit images in the waveletAnalyzer app's SWT-2D tool (sw2dtool.m). The default display range for images is 0-255. I can click on the axes of my Image (I) and De-Noised Image (Di) plots, and manually set the Cdata property to 'Scaled'. This is tedious, however, and I am looking for a way to set that as the default. Each time I change a parameter and update my De-Noised Image, I currently have to repeat this Cdata scaling process. I've found the lines in sw2dtool.m to reset this range, but I cannot overwrite the protected Wavelet Toolbox directory files.

Any suggestions on how to proceed are greatly appreciated.
