Low Pass Filter Implementation, Matlab

I want to make a butterworth filter. Then want to pass a sinusoidal signal with the voltage and input frequency that can be changed. With a constant input voltage, each frequency is changed, then the output voltage and sinusoidal waveform will also change. How to make it in matlab?
