How can I read Excel ?

Hi, I have really simple Problem. I would like to read Excel data but the code

    % [num, txt, raw] = xlsread(fullFileName ,sheet,xlRange);

does not work in this case. Because I would like to read xlsm data. I save this file as a xlsx however I could not read it too. I recieve always this error message:

Source: Microsoft Excel
Description: Die Open-Methode des Workbooks-Objektes konnte nicht
ausgeführt werden.

Could u please advice me a solution ?
