Camera using Matlab Simulink

My project is License Plate Recognition using Raspberry Pi. So basically what the project should do is capture an image from USB cam on Rpi module, use our user defined function (image to text) and display output. Now i have already installed Matlab Simulink for Raspberry PI. can someone please provide a function which captures image from live feed of the Camera block and uses it in the code and then provides an output for displaying it.

eg - Algo for image capture RGB and storing in variable X using X in code to generate output Y Algo for displaying Y
