Please help with the following error message on Matlab R2016b connected to Ettus N210

The following error message occurs after entering command "probesdru": "UHD Error:Device discovery error: input stream error". I am using the latest version of UHD and have re-installed the drivers several times. I've searched for solutions but to no avail. Matlab recognizes the N210. All other functions appear nominal. Matlab is running on Windows 10. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Please check the UHD version number and ensure that it is supported for MATLAB R2016b. The release notes mention that the Communications System Toolbox™ Support Package for USRP Radio supports UHD version 3.9.4 for MATLAB R2016b.

After becoming suspicious that a National Instruments service associated with their related hardware was causing my error, I disabled all NI services. The NI service responsible for my error was the following: NI USRP RIO Server. Because I have an NI installation of Labview on my computer, the Rio Server must have been installed. NI 29xx and Ettus N210(my USRP) hardware are related. As long as NI USRP RIO server listed in Windows Services is disabled, Matlab USRP functions are nominal. Problem solved.

Thanks, I suffered the same problem and it is solved by shutting down the service.
