Matlab GUI guide opens very slowly

Hi, i have a GUI program, recently when i run the m file or open the GUIDE it takes a lot of time to run\open. also it seems that the program is already running. there is a button that says peak screen and when the program is opened i see that the screen has already been chosen, and it's like you open the program in the middle of working. also in the GUI i have a text book and it contains the data from the operative program instead of the default definitions i gave it when the program starts. can you help me?

How long is "a lot of time"? Where is the button which "says peak screen"? What does "the screen has been chosen" mean? What is a "text book" in a GUI? What is "the operative program"? Perhaps you stored some data in the GUI and saved it in GUIDE. This would explain, why you do not see the default values anymore.
