How to code and decode a YUV video sequence ?

I'm working on a project and I need to code and decode a YUV video seauqence on MatLab, I have no idea how to proceed. Could someone point me to the right direction ?

Is this a saved video file, or a live/streaming video? Did you try videoReader()?

I downloaded a sequence from here http://www.cipr.rpi.edu/resource/sequences/. And what I need is some explanation about the procedure if that possible.

Did you ask them for MATLAB code to read their files?
