In grayscale, How to change specific range of color value to other value?

I want to detect boundary of white circle

but some other lines disturb me to do.

And that's why I ask this question.

These lines would be selected with range of RGB scale or else

then, they could be changed to other color similar to background color.

Still finding how to and any small help would be appreciated!

Please help :)
