How can I refer Matlab client to a NetWork.lic file on a share? To be flexible when the license server is replaced.

We want to create a Matlab package for our clients which uses the Network.lic file on a share elsewhere in the network so we only have to change this one Network.lic file when the license server is replaced/changed. Somehow we managed this when packaging 2013a, but now we lost the knowledge how to do this. Is it still possible? Where can I find instructions how to do this?
