How to use Matlab server

I have a large symbolic matrix that I need to integrate definitely (-1 to 1) for an FEM code. Matlab is running out of memory although I have tried expanding the virtual swap memory to 10 GB and have 16 GB RAM. Integrating or simplifying even one entry of the matrix goes out of memory. I have university lisence of Matlab, can & how I use matlab server? Thanks in advance
