Is there an installation problem of Matlab 2016b on MacOS Sierra 10.12.2?

I ran into the following "Extract Error" message while updating my matlab:

What happened when you answered Yes to the question asked in the error?

 Would you like to retry installing shared_asam_mdf_resources_common?

If that still doesn't work, it's possible that file was not downloaded correctly. Consider downloading it again.

Yes - repeat to same message. No - installation stops and program shuts down.

I am installing from the University Server and the IT support of the University is blaming the error on the fact that I'm using an American English keyboard, and American English OS setting but my location is Switzerland.
