Is there an STL file generator for MatLab?

I am generating 3D images that I want to render with a 3D printer. I need to generate STL files to accomplish this task. I was wondering if there is any code out there for that, otherwise I can generate it, but it will take some time.

Since R2018b, MATLAB has built-in STL tools

stlwrite

For legacy versions needing third-party tools, I'd recommend these tools over #22409/#20922. This explains why.

To be specific, this converts volumetric raster images into STL. That might be a more exact interpretation of the question, but it's unknown if the wording of the question was intentional.
