Pareto Distribution

Hi All, Please I need your help regarding the Pareto distribution. I need to write a program to generate a pareto distributed number without using the built-in function of matlab. i used the inverse sampling theorem to obtain the formula regarding the number generation but it didn't work actually. so, is there anyone knows how to do that?
