Fileparts Error while compiling application

Hello, I was compiling the standalone matlab application, when I was selecting the main files it used to work no problem at all and automatically imported all the required files. But this time I got errors: The following error was encountered when analyzing user added files input. Input must be a row vector of characters. I managed to track down where the compiling stopped and found it's in the file part function: if ~ischar(file) I've printed and copied the file variable which are as followed: does anyone has the same issue?
file = built-in (C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2016a\toolbox\matlab\lang\disp)
file = built-in (C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2016a\toolbox\matlab\lang\opaque)

I've updated MATLAB to 2016b and the error message become: file analysis was canceled because the following error occurred: the first input to exist must be a character vector
