How to delete a posted thread

I posted it years ago and I posted under my official name. I just found it on google. How can I delete my posted thread? Thank you in advance.

Only users who have earned enough reputation (3000 points) can delete questions. Or you can raise a support request to Mathworks.

Personally, I will not delete a question for which one or more answer has been supplied. It may no longer be of use to you but it may be of use to somebody else.

Actually, I don't want to delete it all but I posted it under my official name. I am not sure that I can change my name on that post or not. If I can change only my name, it's fine for me.

Are you actually talking about a post on Matlab Answers or a post in the matlab newsgroup.

If the former, then all posts reflect the current matlab central nickname which you can change at any time by going into your profile. If it's a different profile that you don't have access to anymore, you will have to contact Mathworks support and see what they can do.

If the latter, there is nothing that you can do. Just like an email, that post has been sent all over the world, is stored on plenty of computers and can't be recalled.
