fixing a background from a drone movie file

I was able to get a movie file from a drone showing moving things on a prairie. The thing is, since the movie was shot on a drone, it is subject to wind conditions. So along the way, the 'background' moves while the drone films. I want to 'fix' the background as if the drone was completely still while filming. Would it be possible to do it in matlab? I have no skills in video editing, so I don't know where to start.
