Mupad notebook not recommended?

When using the help function in Mupad (=Symbolic Math Toolbox) I see in the current version 16b the hint, that it is not "recommended" to use Mupad notebooks any longer. Instead one should use Matlab live scripts. Same is true for Mupad graphics (which is by the way: excellent. And in my opinion superior to Matlab graphics.). What does this hint mean for the future? Will Mupad notebooks no longer be supported? Are there any known plans concerning the integration of Mupad into Matlab?
