Packing simulink output data with communication protocol and transmit through serial port

Hey guys: I'm current doing a hardware in the loop experience and the controlling board receive data from the simulink model which they share particular communication protocol. But the problem is how to pack the simulink data with communication protocol. Is s-function works? Thanks a lot

Hey,

Consider using the Protocol decoder and Protocol encoder block to decode and encode data as per the specified packet structure. See the 'More About' section in the links for a few examples.
