usage of not isequal

I am using this line: while not(isequal(OptimalPath(end,2)),SearchGoal)
end
I get error "not enough input arguments" - puzzled why

not( isequal(OptimalPath(end,2),SearchGoal) )
You had the ) in the wrong place
