How can I plot a pollution rose?

As in the title, I need to construct a pollution rose? Have you a solution?

Is a "pollution rose" any different than a rose plot created by the rose function?

Yes, it not exactly a rose plot, but something like a surface rose plot for three arrays. Here you can find an example obtained with R (openair package).
